The Errol Rapids Yurt is the gateway to the Androscoggin and Megalloway Rivers and the great paddling and wildlife of Lake Umbagog. Its also base camp for heading into the Grafton Nothch section of the AT North over Bald Pate or South over Old Spec, a 4,000’er and the Mahoosucs. In winter it’s a great dogsledding, snowmobiling, XC skiing, and snowshoeing base camp. The sound of the rapids is year round and puts you to sleep gently. Having a Village nearby makes life very convenient.

Drive into the yurt located in Errol, New Hampshire and unload your stuff. Located back from the banks of the Androscoggin river, enjoy privacy and solitude on the deck or take the trail down to the river. Winter is a great time to enjoy Errol. 20 minutes east or west are the Grafton and Dixville notches, both of which have great trails for hiking or snowshoeing. For those who like things a little less wild, the Balsams Grand Resort is just 30 minutes away. Try their alpine ski area with 1000' of vertical or their cross country area with 85k of groomed trails. Both the Saddleback ski area and the Rangeley Lakes cross country ski area are just an hour north.
